Teachers Training Session

Teachers from Pre-Primary and Primary section attended the Math Workshop conducted by an NGO VIDYA at SSRVM Dharavi on Saturday, 22nd June 2019.

Session Objective:

• Understand the need for creating a supportive learning environment and creating a match rich classroom environment.
• Understand the CPA methodology – Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract.
• Activity based learning – for Addition with carrying forward.
• Activity based learning – for Subtraction with borrowing.
• Understanding word problems and how to make your own word problems.

Teacher’s feedback after the workshop:

Today we have not learned Math but we played with Math. Same way our children will also play with Math – Maheshwari (Class Teacher Std. I).
